Oral Surgery Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a specialty of dentistry which requires 4 to 6 additional years of additional hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. In addition to his oral and maxillofacial surgical training, Dr. Lin has completed additional training in a General Practice Dental Residency and a Fellowship in Maxillofacial and Reconstructive surgery.  As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Lin manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. He is trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, but has chosen to limit his practice expertise to tooth extractions, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, and oral pathology. Most procedures are completed in his office, but Dr. Lin is on the staff at Overlake Hospital and Medical Center in Bellevue, and can provide treatment in a hospital setting when indicated.

Staff

Our surgical staff consists of pleasant, caring, and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants who assist at surgery and during the administration of anesthesia. In addition to the surgical staff, the administrative staff is equally caring, well-informed and also certified in CPR.  The administrative staff can assist you with scheduling, insurance processing, and facilitation of a treatment plan which can meet your needs.  Surgical staff members have successfully completed the Dental Anesthesia National Certification Examination.

Together, Dr. Lin and his team are available to assist you at every step of your surgical procedure.  Our goal is to provide our patients with excellent customer service and surgical expertise, from your first contact with our office, until you have completely healed from your procedure.
